Directbook builds hand made, direct booking websites for independent B&Bs, guesthouses and holiday lets in the UK. What it is: a one off £1,999 website build — no commission on bookings, no monthly subscription for the site itself. Every website is designed and written by hand for one single property, using the host's real photos and story, instead of a template shared with thousands of other businesses. Who it is for: owners who currently rely on Airbnb and Booking.com and lose 15% or more of every booking to commission, whose existing website is a generic template (or who have no website at all), and who want guests to book directly with them. How it works: it starts with a £9.90 demo — a real preview of the property's new website, credited in full against the build if the owner goes ahead. The full site then embeds the host's existing booking engine (such as freetobook or eviivo) or takes card payments via Stripe, with two way iCal sync to Airbnb and Booking.com calendars to prevent double bookings. Hosting and domain setup are included, with two rounds of revisions and a three month warranty. An optional AI phone receptionist can answer guest calls 24/7 and take booking enquiries.
