DMV by Agent Community is a registration system for the .agent namespace. It allows organizations, humans, and AI agents to pre register a preferred .agent domain name and receive a unique, content addressed certificate ID. The system includes a CLI tool ( bunx dmv agent ), MCP server integration, and a verification process via email. After registration, users can share their identity card and make their agent discoverable via DNS TXT records using the AID (Agent Identity & Discovery) spec.
