Eigent is an open source, local first multi agent workforce platform built on Camel AI. It enables users to create and manage AI agents that work together on tasks directly on their desktop. The platform supports both single agent and multi agent (workforce) modes, allowing agents to divide work, collaborate in parallel, and execute complex multi step workflows. Agents can use various toolkits (e.g., Browser, Terminal, File, Web Search) and are model agnostic, supporting cloud APIs, enterprise gateways, or local inference.
