FuriLabs has launched the FLX1s, a Linux based smartphone designed for users who prioritize privacy, security, and open source software. The device runs FuriOS, a GNU/Linux distribution, and features three hardware privacy switches that physically disconnect the microphone, modem/GPS, and camera. It supports multi boot, allowing users to run multiple operating systems. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It includes a 6.7 inch 1600x720 LCD display at 90Hz, dual SIM slot (or SIM+MicroSD), WiFi 6, and a 48MP rear camera. The FLX1s also supports the FUTO Swipe keyboard engine and external display via the FLH1 Convergence Hub.
