LookAway is a Mac app that reminds you to take breaks, but intelligently avoids interrupting you during active tasks. It offers smart break reminders, posture nudges, and blink reminders that work quietly in the background. The app automatically pauses during screen recording, meetings or calls, video playback, deep focus apps, and fullscreen gaming. It also provides a floating countdown that follows your cursor, heads up notifications with snooze options, and menu bar control. LookAway syncs breaks to your iPhone or iPad so your break stays uninterrupted across devices. Additionally, it includes posture and blink reminders, customizable timers, sounds, backgrounds, and messages, and supports AppleScripts or Shortcuts automation when a break starts or ends.
