Mozaik is an open source TypeScript runtime designed for building multi agent AI systems where agents communicate, coordinate, and act autonomously. Unlike traditional workflow based approaches, Mozaik enables agents to self organize at runtime—agents are aware of each other, react to events, and decide collaboration paths dynamically. The runtime is built on a reactive, event driven core: every message, tool call, reasoning step, and error is an event on the bus. Agents subscribe to relevant events and react asynchronously, enabling parallel execution and intelligent recovery from failures.
