MyGenogramMaker sidesteps the account walls and cloud first defaults that define most diagramming tools. The wedge is a browser local editor: names, relationships, and medical notes never leave the device unless the user explicitly opts into cloud saving. That single design choice reframes the product from a collaborative SaaS canvas into a private working surface for social workers, therapy students, health educators, and families who need a visual family map without handing sensitive context to a third party.
