Nixmac is an open source macOS configuration tool that combines the reproducibility of Nix with natural language AI. Instead of writing Nix expressions manually, you describe your desired system state in plain English, and Nixmac generates the corresponding Nix code, builds it, and applies it safely. It integrates with nix darwin, Nixpkgs, home manager, Homebrew, and launchd, and provides real time build logs, line level diffs, drift detection, and git native version control with AI written commit messages.
