Obsidian is a powerful knowledge base and note taking application that stores your notes as plain Markdown files on your local device. It offers a flexible, extensible environment for organizing ideas, building a personal wiki, and managing projects. Key features include linking notes to create a web of knowledge, a graph view to visualize connections, an infinite Canvas for brainstorming and diagramming, and optional sync and publish services. Obsidian supports thousands of community plugins and themes, allowing users to tailor the app to their unique workflows.
