Shadow Lab is the personal product laboratory of independent developer Ward, who uses AI to compress the entire product lifecycle—from ideation to launch—into a single person operation. The lab's manifesto rejects abstract concepts in favor of code and actual runtime as the only delivery standard. Each of the seven live tools targets a narrow, concrete pain point: reading, business cards, note migration, visual understanding, and more. This portfolio approach lets Ward test multiple wedges simultaneously while publicly documenting every step, a practice known as Build in Public.
