Zoox is an autonomous robotaxi service that operates in select U.S. cities. Unlike traditional cars retrofitted with self driving technology, Zoox has designed a purpose built, bidirectional electric vehicle from the ground up. The vehicle has no steering wheel or pedals, and passengers face each other in a carriage style seating arrangement. The service is currently available in Las Vegas, with plans to expand to San Francisco, Austin, Miami, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.
