Barkie is an AI native, voice first golf caddie app that lets golfers keep their head in the game—not on their phone. Instead of manually entering scores between holes, users simply keep score on a physical scorecard and snap a photo at the end of the round. Barkie’s patent pending dual layer system uses a guardrailed LLM for conversational front end and a rules based backend to automatically read the scorecard, calculate handicaps, and update leaderboards. The app integrates with the USGA Handicap Index to pull official handicaps before the round, and provides hole by hole analytics across 43,000 courses. Social features allow players to compete with friends on different courses in real time.
