Axol is a dual arm robot designed for physical AI applications. It features two 7 degree of freedom (DOF) arms with 860mm reach and 6.5kg peak payload per arm, controlled at 500Hz via USB C. The robot comes with an open source Python SDK and CLI that includes bimanual inverse kinematics (IK), VR teleoperation via WebXR, and LeRobot bindings for data collection and policy training. Axol is built for real world manipulation tasks, with internally routed cables, FAKRA GMSL 2.0 passthrough for wrist cameras, and a steel/aluminum/TPU construction for durability.
